See The New Trojan That Was Found in Google's Adsense.

There is nothing else Trojan and Malware authors have in mind other than writing series of malicious codes that goes out there to steel financial and credit card details. The rate at which these codes and their authors are making waves and trends in the IT world is really bad. Even google of all could be, it makes me wonder if there is isn't any network that is hack-proof (NSA and Pentagon included).

Thanks to Kapersky Labs Experts,who revealed this new Trojan called Svpeng. The Kaspersky Lab experts recently discovered a modification of the mobile banking Trojan, Svpeng hiding in Google’s advertising network AdSense. Since mid-July, Svpeng has been detected on the Android devices of around 318,000 users, with the rate of infection peaking at 37,000 victims in a day. The Trojan's first known case was recorded in mid-July on an online Russian news outlet. During the attack, the Trojan silently downloaded itself onto the Android devices of the website’s visitors through Chrome for Android.

The Trojan, Svpeng, disguised itself as an important browser update in order to convince the user to approve the update and installation. Once the malware was launched it disappeared from the list of installed apps and gave itself admin rights, which made it impossible to be uninstalled via traditional means.

One common thing about these malicious codes is that they can never enter into any device, without the user cautiously or ignorantly give then access. This is why it is always advised to desist from downloading apps from untrusted sites and developers. Normally, when a malicious app is about to be downloaded, the browser / and virus program alerts the user that a malicious and untrusted app is about to be downloaded, but in the case of Svpeng, it seems that the authors of this code has found a way bypass or disguise their codes to be invisible to anti-virus programs.

On discovering the bug, Kaspersky Labs immediately reported the issue to Google. The patch will be issued in the nearest Google Chrome for Android update. On the other hand, we at Techvillz share a common of protecting users from cyber crimes and attacks. Always avoid downloading your applications from un-rusted sites/sources  be cautious when it comes to giving permissions to apps and settings.

Install an effective security solution to you various devices, and be aware and at aleart, watching out for the tools and techniques used by these malware authors to disguise trick users into installing malicious software and apps.

Solid Star rants on Instagram, compares Nigeria's music industry to Trump.

Musician Solid Star, took to Instagram to rant about the state of things in the Nigerian Music industry saying a lot of artistes are jealous of each other and don't support real talent. Read what he wrote below...

Donald Trump won the US election against all odds, and we were all blinded by the lies, propaganda and hype of the media. The media even blinded themselves bringing out polls and predictions that The probability of Trump winning against Hillary with all his scandals was 30:70. But at the end he won and shamed everybody

This is the same issues we have in our entertainment industry in Africa, the media have succeeded in blinding the fans from what is real, pure and good, from what real talent and good music is about. They hype their family and friends and ignore the ones that don't text them good morning everyday and form fake friendship with them. I am not about the life of faking or acting a friend in your face and do otherwise behind your back that is why I have little or no friends in the industry cos even the artists are jealous of each other and they don't support real talents because they don't want to be exposed. 

This is not directed to anybody or media house. It is a general issue that we all have to look into. Imagine an AWARD ceremony that calls itself credible, giving one artist an award and even made him make a video which was broadcasted on the screen at the award thanking them and later withdrawing the award to give to someone else. This shows the irregularities, partiality and mediocrity in the whole system. 

An award organizers recently released a list and even though I was nominated I wasn't satisfied because the main category that would have meant a bit to me was missing on my nomination which is best raggae/dance hall. I can only pick one song out of the whole bunch that did a bit better than Wait refix ft Patoranking and Tiwa Savage for their year in view. No disrespect to any artist nominated or the organizers but somethings are just so wrong. 

A lot of talented artists have been ignored for so long that they even start doubting themselves. Even the Grammys which is  also not 100 percent credible have their flaws but try as much as possible to recognize real talent 

These African Award organizers bring together some bunch of unqualified music critics and whatnot to set up the nomination list and that's where the problem starts from and it leads to artists fighting on social media over a category. My management sometimes force me to solicit for votes for awards am nominated for because it doesn't impress me at all and I DONT like awards. Most of these guys you have awarded ahead of me, met me in the industry and today they are no where to be found. I've been regular and consistent since the day I dropped my first single One In A Million ft 2face Idibia and I have never gone a year without dropping a popping meaningful song. At the end of the day the award plaques are just meaningless and useless cos them go burn or rust one day. And the whole ceremony and intentions of the organizers is to make money without regard to the artists that put in their best to their craft. 

I have never been the type to speak out about issues like this. Just thought I should just free my mind small.

How To Fix iPhone 7 Bluetooth Issues.

I've been receiving calls and males from several readers who are iPhone users as well, complaining about their inability to use Bluetooth connectivity in their new iPhone 7. I was surprised that   the things a user could complain about iphone 7, it is the Bluetooth! But nevertheless I want to use this short time to illustrate to users how they can fix the Bluetooth issues they are having with there iPhoe. It is as easy as ABC. There are several things you can do in order to remedy the Bluetooth issues experienced by iPhone users.

1.    The first thing you can do is to Restart the device, then try connecting again. Turn of the iPhone, then put it back on.

2.    Re- Pair the Bluetooth Devices: Yes, you can also fix iPhone bluetooth issues by removing the paired devices and then re-pair them again. Below is how you can repair a Bluetooth device. 

• Open the Settings app & tap Bluetooth.
• Tap the (menu) icon alongside of the paired devices, then choose Forget This Device.
• Confirm you want to forget it by tapping OK.
• Put the Bluetooth device in pairing mode. Search for the Bluetooth device again, then re-pair it.

3.    Reset iPhone network settings: This is normally the last resort when the first and second methods didn't work. To reset your iPhone network settings,

• Open the Settings app and go to General.
• Tap on Reset.
• Choose on Reset Network Settings.
• Enter your iPhone pass-code and confirm you want to reset by tapping OK.

If all the above solutions didn't work for you, then kindly visit the nearest Genius Bar.  However, the recent iOS 10 update is supposed to fixed any known bugs and issues experienced by iPhone users, making sure that you're using the latest update could also fix the issue, else, your device has developed aHardware Issue.
