Militant group, Niger Delta Avengers have issued a statement warning Exxon Mobil not to carry out repairs on its Qua Iboe 48" crude oil export pipeline in Akwa Ibom which they claim they blew up last Monday July 11th. Exxon Mobil had earlier denied the claim but the militant group insists it carried out the attack. Read their statement below...

When we published the Que Iboe 48-inches crude oil export line was blown by us (Niger delta avengers) ExxonMobil denied it, but now ExxonMobil has admitted that the 48” pipeline we (Niger Delta Avengers) blow up is “System Anomaly”. We urging them to follow the path of safety by admitting it was blown but them (ExxonMobil) not admitting it to their traders/international refineries is none of our business. It will become our (Niger delta Avengers) business when ExxonMobil carry out repair work on the blown pipeline. When that time comes it won’t be ExxonMobil declaring false Majeure but it’s going to be something worst. Exxonmobil and Akwa Ibom government can deny Niger Delta Avengers is not in Akwa Ibom state but we want them to know one of our elite strike team is based in Akwa Ibom State. We are warning Exxonmobil not to carry out any repair work on the blown pipeline if they refuse and go ahead with any repair work something big and worst will happen. To the traders/international refineries doing business with them, don’t let ExxonMobil deceive you that the repair work will take three to four weeks with the level of damage it will take them (ExxonMobil) months to fixed it. What happened to Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) crude oil export pipeline in Forcados is an example to all International Oil Companies, no repair works until the federal government heed to our demands. When you think back to middle school, what’s the first thing that comes to mind? Feeling self-conscious in a prepubescent body (or full-on puberty for some)? Recess? Or that enormously awkward class when you learned the male and female reproductive systems? For some, that memory seems to fade rather quickly. GSVTRUST GLOBAL. recently asked a group of adults to label diagrams of the male and female reproductive systems, and the results were uh… nuts. Not everyone was completely clueless, and those who struggled got creative. Who's to say? "Baby Brewer" might just make it into middle school science textbooks. Of the 17, here are a few, starting with Buzzfeed's correct diagram:

Other respondents might have stressed about recalling anatomical terminology, but not this one. He opted for playful euphemisms. While he correctly located male parts, the "baby brewer," or uterus, is a bit north of where he indicated. He got the clitoris right, though. "Pleasure Point (V. Important)," indeed, but for some women, not always. Fun fact: A recent study found women with small clitorises, which were also located farther from the vagina than other women, had trouble orgasming.

Third on the list, this anonymous male decided to bring religion into the picture. "Labia menorah"? Not quite. But he was on the right track. The opening to the vagina has the labia majora and minora. He's also perplexed by the idea of a prostate.

This one is a bit alarming. Apparently, the female respondent urinates when aroused. She has general knowledge of the male reproductive system. Kudos for locating the prostate. Most males struggled or completely ignored it. The ovaries, however, just aren't the fallopian tubes.

Lionel Messi and Iniesta cancel Turkey flights for Samuel Eto'o match following failed Military coup.

Reigning World footballer of the year Lionel Messi and his teammate Andres Iniesta have cancelled their flights to Turkey following the failed military coup in the country.

The pair were scheduled to join other football stars play a match in Turkey today Saturday July 16th that was organised by Samuel Eto'o, their former teammate, to commemorate the 10th anniversary of his charity foundation. However, the match has been cancelled after a military coup was attempted in Turkey late Friday night.

Barcelona football club posted a Tweet confirming both players were in Spain and wouldn't be traveling to Turkey for the match.

Messi, Neymar, Luis Suarez, Eden Hazard, Francesco Totti, Michael Essien, Xavi Hernandez, Carles Puyol, Eric Abidal, Jay Jay Okocha, Pierre Emerick Aubameyang, Andres Iniesta, Demba Ba, Didier Drogba and Arda Turan were all expected to take part in the game.

I’m unmoved by EFCC media trial – Fayose Edo State Governor Nigeria.

Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose has said that he remained unmoved by the media trial adopted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) against him, saying “the anti-corruption agency and its collaborators in the All Progressives Congress (APC) should not be in a hurry in their ill-motive, rather they should wait till 2018 after my tenure when I will confront their lies.”
He said:

“The EFCC did more than this in 2006 but when I challenged their cooked up stories on poultry project in the court, the EFCC failed to substantiate all their allegations against me and their case crumbled like a pack of cards.”

Speaking through his Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka, Governor Fayose said “the EFCC is at liberty to continue to use the APC media organs to feed the public with concocted stories all in an attempt to tarnish my image, cases are only won and lost in the court, not on the pages of newspapers. If they are sure of all their claims, can’t they just go to court?

“If what the EFCC and its collaborators are now relying on is a driver or a source in EFCC that speaking for Zenith Bank, and not the former National Security Adviser (NSA), Col. Sambo Dasuki (rtd) that they claimed gave the former Minister of State for Defence, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro money to give me, goodluck to them.

“The EFCC and its spin doctors can continue to cook up stories and feed their collaborators in the media. The media trial can continue unabated, I am not moved. I am more focused, more resolute, I don’t lose battles. The one that they did in 2006 did not ultimately prevent me from having a second term as governor of Ekiti State and whatever they are doing now will also not stop me from handing over to a PDP governor in 2018.

“I will meet them in court and the whole world will again listen to their feeble stories as it‎ happened in poultry saga,” he said.

While reiterating his position that the EFCC was only carrying out the APC agenda to force him out of office or discredit him before the 2018 governorship election, the governor said the EFCC will be asked one day, why some politicians from Ekiti State now resume and close in EFCC offices in Lagos and Abuja and are the ones writing stories for publication in newspapers.

“When you read reports in their newspapers, the words and presentation are always the same and one wonders whether the two national dailies and the online medium they are using to spew their lies usually get their stories from the same source and the source even write the stories for them just for their reporters to put their names as bylines,” the governor said.
