NCC To All Telecoms: Increase The Price Of Data As from December 1.

NCC
This really heart breaking!!!. What is our country turning into? Is Nigeria moving forward? or getting worse and worse every day by day. The economy of the country is really bad and dropping day by day. Nothing has ever been the same since, Are we growing or are we dying? this has been my question for a long time.

I was just about to call a customer care representative last night to inquire if the MTN i-Pulse Might plan data subscription is still  in effect, by dialing 180, I was greeted as usual, then followed this sad news "Dear customer, please Be informed that from the 1st of December 2016, all MTN data plans will changed in compliance with NCC directive to all operatives, thank You.

NCC To All Telecoms: Increase The Price Of Data As from December 1.

At first i thought it wasn't true, so i dialed 181 which is the MTN Self Care Service Number,  and was greeted with the same sad news, "Dear customer, please Be informed that from the 1st of December 2016, all MTN data plans will changed in compliance with NCC directive to all operatives, thank you.

PMB on phone call

At this time of hardship in the country when the cost of item, foods and services are on the increase, telecoms, especially Glo NG, has been saving many Nigerians a lot by delivering fast data plans and most importantly, at cheaper rates,  but this new directive will force Nigeians to go back to the age when 1GB data was sold at 500naira or even worse, 160mega-byte at 1,000naira.
